How it Started

Going through a journey of finding herself, Kayla decided to find answers to the questions she had about God and Judaism. As she went through her list she wrote down the answers she found, and started sharing the google doc. Eventually the document was published into a book, which created a book tour, and the idea of events and then an organization was born.

The story of how the book and organization came to be is a sad story, that can be triggering to many. It is a story of struggle, from which emerged triumph, and beauty. To watch it, click below

About Kayla

Kayla and her husband Rabbi Shmuel Goldstein, currently serve as the Associate Rabbi and Rebbetzin in Congregation Beth Tefillah in Paramus NJ.

Together with their two children they run an open home at which anyone who needs a Shabbat, a dinner or a listening ear is welcome.

Besides for speaking engagements and events that Questioning The Answers put on, Kayla has recently become involved in the Agunah crisis and founded the Vaad LInyanei Igun. Services

Some of the things we do here at Questioning the Answers

Question Box

We offer an online service where one can submit a question and we research the answer online together, finding the base, the purpose and the practical application

Events

We offer events where women can come together and connect to a holiday or an idea without getting bogged in the details, just singing no restrictions

Shabbaton

We offer Shabbatons- weekends where we just sit in pajamas and really just relax, talk and bond, learn and sing and become stronger as individuals and as a community

Public Speaking

Public speaking and QTA circles- where Kayla is brought in to an event to speak or to run an open filterless questioning circle, where all questions are welcomed and all answers are discussed, and there is no risk involved in talking and questioning.

Chavrusas

One on one classes with Kayla whether to learn a certain Sefer, Mitzvah, our history or just talk. Kayla also offers Kallah Classes

Zoom Classes

Online group classes where we discuss a specific topic in a closed zoom room. They are announced on Instagram and topic is decided by vote.
